Welcome to MOOII, where creativity and passion come to life. I’m Annelie Schutte, a mother of two teenagers and a professional in private equity management, working side by side with my husband.

While my days are often filled with numbers, spreadsheets, and strategic decisions, my true escape lies in the world of art. It’s in my studio where I can breathe, explore, and express the vibrant thoughts and emotions that fuel my creativity.
I graduated in Industrial Design from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology many moons ago, a foundation that still influences my artistic journey today. Although my career path led me into the corporate world, my love for design and art has remained an unwavering constant. This background allows me to bring a unique blend of precision and creativity to my work, merging the analytical with the artistic.

At MOOII, I channel my experiences and observations into each piece, whether it’s capturing the mesmerising beauty of the underwater world or creating designs that speak to the soul. My art is a reflection of my journey—a fusion of my professional expertise, personal experiences, and an enduring love for design.

I am especially grateful to my soul-sister, Adéle, for expanding her circle of love and allowing MOOII to share a platform where our combined art reflects the passion we share for the ocean. Together, we create pieces that not only celebrate the beauty of the sea but also resonate with our deep connection to it.
